We welcome you to the surrogacy program at The Stork Society! 

We currently have a limited selection of Gestational Surrogates at this time.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

- Surrogate recommendations based on your preferences and ideals on key issues regarding the pregnancy and child

- Screening of the surrogate and anyone who lives in her home including criminal background checks

- Assistance in obtaining medical and life insurance for the surrogate

- Coordinating legal referrals for you and your surrogate

- Coordinating medical appointments for you and your surrogate

- Coordinating travel arrangements for your surrogate

- Providing emotional support and holding hands with you, your donor and your surrogate. 

- Providing direction, education, and guidance from surrogate selection through the birth of your child.

- Managing finances and payments

 


SOME INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SURROGATES

- Our Surrogates have given birth to at least one child, enjoy being pregnant and believe their own families are complete

 - Past pregnancies have been "easy and uncomplicated"

 - Physically and psychologically healthy women between the ages of 21- 41

 - Appropriate weight to height ratio, non smoker and non drinker (drug testing will confirm this)

 - Stable household environment and have support of families and friends

 - Financially stable

 - Reliable transportation

 - Live in surrogate friendly states (excludes donors living in Michigan, Nebraska, Washington, New Jersey, and New York)

 - Must submit to psychological screening and background check

 - Must be comfortable with the decision to help you by carrying your child and can commit to the entire surrogacy process

 - Willing to attend monthly meetings with a therapist for her emotional support

 - Our surrogates are partnered with an experienced surrogate to aide her comfort throughout the process

 

The Surrogate's application process includes a lengthy application which includes medical and psychological history (including submission of medical records), phone consultation, home assessment, criminal background check on anyone who lives in her home and a psychological assessment
