We
help Prospective Parents to select a suitable egg Donor to assist them to conceive a
child and are available to guide them through the donation process.
Our substantial registry of Donors
is continually updated. We recruit donors locally and from other geographic areas to provide potential parents in
all areas with many choices. Many of our Donors are able to travel for the donation
cycle. Our Donors come from different backgrounds and educational levels. Some are in school,
some hold advanced degrees, some work, some are in the military, and some are homemakers. Many have given
birth to children of their own or have donated previously. They all share a common desire to help those who have
been unable to have children on their own.
This agency works with individuals
or couples who desire to have children. Besides assisting in the selection of a donor,
this agency is available to manage all arrangements associated with the donation cycle, as well as providing
assistance, personal support, and resources for related professionals.
In the event that a parent has selected a physician or clinic
that requires a Donors to be "in- house" (meaning the donor has become a member or the clinics' own donor pool) The Stork
Society is willing to work with the clinic so that the Donor may become a part of the clinics own donor pool for the donation.
No parent should ever be denied the Donor or physician of their choice.
There is never a consultation fee for Prospective Parents.
Though our Donor registry is extensive
and we are confident you will be able to select a Donor from our existing database, if your requirements of a Donor fall
outside our registry, we are willing to conduct a private search for a Donor who meets your requirements.
Our goal is to remove the confusion associated
with egg donation, and allow hopeful Parents to relax and enjoy the process of conception.
The first egg donation pregnancy occured in 1984. Since
that time thousands of these procedures have occured. It is a popular method to assist individuals and couples who are suffering
from infertility due to medical problems or advanced maternal age. The Mother gives birth to her biological child but not
her genetic one. There are currently over 550,000 healthy children borne of this procedure all over the world.
